Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Paidtogo, an innovative mobile application developed by Paid To Go LLC. These terms and conditions govern your use of our app and its services. By accessing or using the app, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

  1. Acceptance of Terms – By using the Paidtogo app, you agree to these terms and conditions. Paid To Go LLC reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the app following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
  2. Eligibility – To use the Paidtogo app, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is older. By accessing or using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
  3. Data Use and Privacy – Paidtogo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. We do not share your data with any third parties and all privacy concerns are handled according to best practices in data protection and privacy. Paidtogo utilizes Apple Health for all step data. All corresponding data such as miles and Kcals are based off of the step data. Paidtogo does not sell your data. Paidtogo is not liable for any loss of data or Coins associated with data.
  4. Earning Coins – You earn 1 Coin per mile as a Pro Member. Coins are earned and accrued on a daily basis, not a monthly basis. This means you get 1 Coin for every 2000 steps in a day. If you take 1999 steps for the day, you will get 0 coins. If you take 3999 steps you will get 1 Coin. Steps do not roll over to the next day. If you take 1999 steps every day for a month, you would get 0 Coins. You can earn an additional 15 Coins for hitting the daily step goal. The daily step goal is personalized to your step history and will fluctuate over time. You can earn up to 1200 Coins per Month. The value of a coin is currently 2.5 Cents USD. We reserve the right to change the value of the PTG Coins and the rate at which they are rewarded at any time.
  5. Paidtogo Payouts – When you have enough Coins you can purchase a payout via Paypal. You must be a Pro subscriber to purchase a Payout. Payments are normally issued up to 6 weeks after the end of the month the Payout was purchased. In some cases it can take longer depending on the Apple FIscal Calendar payment schedule. You must have an active Paypal account added in Paidtogo to get paid for that month. Failure to add your Paypal correctly will result in no payment for that payout period. You must have an active Pro account at the time payouts are made. If your membership lapses, your Coins will be returned to your balance and you can purchase another payout when you resubscribe.
  6. Paidtogo Challenges – Challenges are group contests where you “deposit” money to hit a monthly step goal. Winners are users who hit the step goal. Losers and users who do not hit the step goal. Winners will split the pot (minus admin and transaction fees) and losers will lose their deposit. Challenge payments are issued 1-2 weeks after the end of the the Challenge. You have 48 hours to log into your app and sync your data after the end of a Challenge. Challenge data will be finalized after this 48 hour syncing window and the results are then set and the winners and losers determined. If you do not log in and sync your data after the end of the Challenge, you will not have all your steps synced with Apple Health. We recommend syncing your steps daily. You DO NOT need to be a Pro subscriber in order to get paid for entering a challenge.
  7. Preventing Fraudulent Activity Attempting to game or defraud the system takes money from honest users and erodes trust in the program. We have many verification measures taking place behind the scenes to make sure that users are only walking and running in accordance with our terms and conditions. These include step tracking, speed, location and other indicators useful for determining activity type. Not all of your data may convert into Coins and we may delete activities that don’t meet our criteria. In the event that we believe a user is attempting to game the system and earn Coins and money outside of normal walk and run activities, we will suspend that users account and require further verification of activities. We reserve the right to terminate any account we suspect of fraudulent activity. Attempting to defraud the system includes the following types of activities: any machine powered assistence, GPS spoofing, using more than one device or account, attaching your phone or wearable device to anything other than your body, consistently posting large coin earnings every day for an extended period of time when your step, location and speed data don’t match up, etc. Users may only have one PaidToGo account and one Paypal email.
  8. How To Cancel and Delete Your Account You can delete your account by going to your profile page and selecting “Delete Account.” You can cancel your subscription by going to your Apple Subscriptions menu in your Iphone.   9. Reward Rates – We reserve the right to change the cost, number of Coins available per month, dispersion rates and percentages, and any other factors or Coin rewards at any time. You must have an active Pro account at the time payouts are made.
  10. Challenge Fees – Pro users are subject to a 30% of profits Admin fee on Challenge winnings. This means winners will get their initial bet back and then 70% of the profits will be split between the winners.
  11. Liabilities – Paidtogo is not liable for any lost Coins or funds. Failure to properly sync your data or to add a functioning Paypal address can lead to losses in daily rewards and Challenge winnings. Entry fees for Challenges are non refundable.
  12. Coin Cap – The monthly Coins earned cap is 1200 Coins per month and 40 Coins per day. We reserve the right to change Coin Caps at any time.
  13. Requests for more information – We reserve the right to suspend any user, withhold any payment to a user with unusual step activity and/or request more information about how they obtained the steps.
